Live To Skate
I bought a pair of brand new shoes today. It's a pair of sneakers from Balkanik 2.0 I've been eyeing for a while now.
In fact, they are not really new — they've been fashioned to look really worn, as if they've been scuffed to death from ollie-ing too much.
I know it's strange, how many of us are into the distressed look.
And we would pay top dollar for the more deconstructed a pair of jeans, a T-shirt, or in this case; a pair of skate sneakers really are.
What I like about these BLK2.0 Vens DIRTY GRUNGE sneakers is how they remind me of Z-Boy Stacey Peralta's vintage-style skate shoes (below).

The great thing about these sneakers is that they don't work against my Maitreya Lara feet. Unlike some of the other available styles at the store, which were made to be compatible with the best available mesh bodies in SL, the BLK2.0 Vens DIRTY GRUNGE sneakers will fit the Maitreya Lara mesh body with a couple of quick adjustments.
There is also a sizing script that allows you to stretch the the sneaker in all directions to get that perfect fit.
